Born in Warsaw, Poland, Jon Piotr Goracy grew up in New York City in a Polish home. After studying Economics and Film at Columbia University, Jon studied acting with William Esper and quickly began working in development and production for manager Davien Littlefield, producer Scott Rudin, and casting director Avy Kaufman.

Before focusing on creating content, Jon worked with directors Guillaume Canet and Scott Frank and appeared opposite Liam Neeson, Uma Thurman, Clive Owen, and Blythe Danner in various roles.

Directing an Off-Broadway play led to Jon producing and directing the feature film - I’m Obsessed With You - starring Golden Globe Winner Rachel Brosnahan. The film played multiple international festivals and was distributed by Gunpowder & Sky worldwide.

Jon recently wrote, directed, and produced the short narrative films Engaged (2019) and Right Aid (2021).

In addition to casting Film & TV (recent credits include Gemini Man (Skydance), Chupa (Netflix), Winning Time (HBO), Operation Finale (MGM), The Curse (Showtime)) for major studios working alongside Oscar winning directors and producers, Jon is also in development on an original mini series and an adventure film set in Poland.
